We gardeners are all feeling excited and eager to get outside planting. However, in the South Jersey area, we have night temperatures dipping in the mid 30s/low 40s thru this weekend.

Tender plants like begonias, Boston ferns, impatiens, and veggie plants like tomatoe's temperature tolerance is in the mid-50s and above. If left out in the cold night air the plants can be damaged or produce fewer flowers and/or fruits.

Tip: Place tender plants in your garage or shed. An even better option, remember to bring your plant friends indoors and have a spend-the-night party every night this week.

Happy Planting Flower and Plant Friends!
